Bacteriostatic water is Water for Injection USP containing benzyl alcohol at 0.9% w/v as a bacteriostatic preservative, which allows a vial to be entered more than once. It is a multi-component solution rather than a chemical substance, so CAS, molecular formula, molar mass and sequence do not apply.
